Metal Max Xeno: Reborn Revealed for PC and Consoles; Coming West in 2022
PQube announced they will publish the Kadokawa Games-developed vehicle-combat RPG Metal Max Xeno: Reborn, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in 2022.
Metal Max Xeno: Reborn is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans are endangered and must fight to survive in a wasteland. This adventure is based on Metal Max Xeno, which released in 2018 to reboot the series of sorts. The game has received updated visuals, new battle mechanics, and a skill and modification system. Further, there’s a dog that you can pet; we know that’s a game-changer for some players.
Metal Max Xeno: Reborn hasn’t been announced for PS5, but it will be playable via backward compatibility. It’ll be interesting to know when these developers start making games exclusively for the next-gen console because right now, it’s looking like PS4 will still receive titles long into 2022.
Metal Max Xeno: Reborn takes place in a time where half a century ago of war against the mother computer NOA has reduced even Asia’s largest metropolis, TOKIO, to rubble. Players will need to salvage tech and machines to traverse the landscape and save the human race.
We’ll keep you updated on the release of Metal Max Xeno: Reborn.
