Metal Max Xeno Introduces Maria in English Gameplay Trailer
NIS America released a new character trailer for the Kadokawa Games developed action RPG Metal Max Xeno, coming to PlayStation 4 on September 25 in North America and September 28 in Europe.
The trailer introduces a female character by the name of Maria, a soldier who is a specialist at hand to hand combat when outside of a vehicle. However, these combat skills don’t really make her a good driver, which is a field where she could use some improvements in.
As a soldier, Maria can equip dual weapons and shift between them while firing. Furthermore, the vehicle’s weapon damage has been increased with a special “Barrel Blast” skill. Although, the risk of weapon breaking is increased.
In the gameplay trailer, players can get a preview of the game’s characters and dialog scenes as the party meets Maria, who is wearing a pretty interestingly revealing purple outfit.

Author’s take: This game is in celebration of the Metal Max series’ 25th Anniversary and I’m eager to see how the new generation of niche gamers feel about this title. Although it’s not pushing any graphical advancements, tank warfare is a fun genre all on it’s own. With the addition of an engaging group of characters and story, we could be seeing more Metal Max games in the future. So a lot is riding on this release.
