Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 Will Not Support Keyboard & Mouse on Steam, Requires Controller

Konami has launched the official Steam page for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1, revealing that, interestingly, the package will require a controller to play. Keyboard and mouse play will not be supported. Additionally, the package will cost $59.99.

Perhaps this will alter before the collection launches ahead of its October 24, 2023. We’ll be sure to keep you all updated.

Volume 1 likely means we’ll see more classic Metal Gear games come to modern platforms. What’s missing is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots alongside other PSP titles, but we’ll have to wait and see what comes from this first grouping of titles.
