Metal Gear Rising Raiden Voice Actor Teases Series-Related Announcements in the Coming Weeks
With the tenth anniversary of the fan-favorite Metal Gear franchise spinoff, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, occurring next month, a fan inquired about the potential of a sequel announcement. In response, the voice actor of protagonist Raiden, Quinton Flynn, replied, simply stating, “Stayed tuned for things to be announced in the coming weeks,” with a winking emoji.
Due to the vagueness of this response, it’s obviously impossible to conclude any concrete information. However, if Flynn is accurate, fans can look forward to news regarding Metal Gear Rising and perhaps the rest of the franchise, by extension.
Considering Konami’s recent efforts with their franchises, most notably the resurgences of Suikoden, Castlevania, and Silent Hill, a Metal Gear-themed showcase or announcement does not seem too far-fetched.
Granted, it’s best not to assume anything without official announcements by Konami, but being alert won’t hurt. We’ll be sure to inform you all of any forthcoming significant developments.
