Tactics RPG ‘Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix’ Gets Physical Switch and PS4 Release From Limited Run Games

PM Studios and acttil announced they are partnering with Limited Run Games to release a physical version of the Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch beginning on October 29.

Fans will be able to purchase a standalone version of the game or be one of the few who pick up the game’s Limited Edition, which includes exclusive box art, artbook, original soundtrack, and collector’s box. Currently, the link isn’t active, but closer to release the story page will be available here.

Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix is a tactical SRPG that features some retro design and mechanics while also introducing new features to the genre. Players will need to utilize their units in order to gain the most from their abilities in battles. This includes assigning strong leaders to change the flow of battle, leveling up units, changing classes, managing equipment, and making strategic choices in battle besides just running into danger.

Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix takes place in the background of the Mercenaries story involving the war.
