Mercenaries Lament: The Silver Wolf and the Maiden’s Seven Stars Revealed for PS4 and Switch

RideonJapan announced they will publish a new sequel to the Mercenaries Saga strategy RPG series titled Mercenaries Lament: The Silver Wolf and the Maiden’s Seven Stars, the game is in development for Nintendo Switch for a February 9, 2023 release in Japan. In addition, the title is also in development for PlayStation 4 to release at a later date.

Being the seventh entry in the Mercenaries Saga series, Mercenaries Lament: The Silver Wolf and the Maiden’s Seven Stars is preceded by a plague that has taken over the lands. The disease transforms its victims into zombies, which leads the mercenaries to form groups to stop them from biting other humans.

The commander of the Silver Wolf Company, Johan, meets a man known as the Grim Reaper, and they get into battle. Following the duel, a prophecy is bestowed to Johan that after 100 days, death will arrive. This event leads to a maiden who fends off the Grim Reaper and has the power to heal those who have turned into zombies. Now, Johan and his group lend their aid to the maiden and travel throughout the kingdom to heal the citizens.

Gameplay will include similar strategy RPG elements, including unit customization. We’ll keep you updated on the development and western release.
