Members of Silent Hill Band Reunite to Produce New Song for The Medium

Bloober Team released a new trailer for their psychological horror adventure, The Medium, available now on Xbox Series X|S and PC-via Steam.

The trailer features a new song, titled Fade, is composed by Akira Yamaoka, known for his work on the Silent Hill series, and Arkadiusz Reikowski, who worked on Blair Witch. The song also has lyrics sung by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Troy Baker, as a sort of reunion between the group after they worked together during The Medium’s development.

During gameplay, players will assume Marianne’s role, a medium hounded by visions living and interacting across two worlds, the real and the spirit realm. Everything needs to be questioned during gameplay. Players need to view events from two different angles, both of which contain scary themes.

Currently, it seems like The Medium will be exclusive to Xbox Series X and PC. The team has not announced if it will be coming to other platforms, but they seem to be focused on Microsoft’s next-gen console from their messaging.
