Mega Man X DiVE Offline Team Thinking About DLC, Collabs & Player Feedback, Says Producer

In a new English-subtitled video posted by Capcom Taiwan, the producer of the online version of Mega Man X DiVE, Yoda, and the producer of Mega Man X DiVE Offline, Asada, navigated the Tokyo Game Show 2023 venue. Of course, the video’s focus is the playable area for Mega Man X DiVE Offline.

However, the ending of the video is the most significant, as Asada directly addresses player feedback. In response to questions about whether the Offline version of the game will feature DLC and “collaborations with characters and levels,” Asada said, “they will evaluate it in the direction of positive response.” He then bluntly said that they’ll “think about it.”

For those unaware, Mega Man X DiVE Offline launched without a variety of content, such as those missing from collaborations for the online version of the title. As a result, fans have been requesting the return of these features, and it seems that, while vague, the team is thinking about it all.

In Mega Man X DiVE Offline, players can control multiple Mega Man franchise characters, including fan-favorite ones. Over 900 stages and various avenues of character customization are featured. The game is essentially an altered version of the previous iteration of the online title.

Fans can obtain Steam achievements and take advantage of the following languages with subtitle support:

  • English
  • Japanese
  • Thai
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Portuguese – Brazil
  • French
  • German

The following gameplay details are featured:

  • Elemental Metals will be given to players as stage completion awards. Additional items, characters, and weapon fragments will also be available as stage rewards or to exchange in the in-game shop.
  • Seasonal Events are included and can be played whenever you want, regardless of the time of year.
  • A new mode has been created to listen to the game’s BGM and character voice clips.
  • To compensate for the removal of PvP, certain skills have been adjusted and fine-tuned for PvE.
