Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection to Have Denuvo on Steam; Controller Required

Mega Man fansite Rockman Corner recently spotted an update on the Steam store pages of Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 1 and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 2. Both collections are stated to contain Denuvo DRM at launch, which has already started to become a growing concern with fans.

For those unaware, Denuvo DRM is an infamous anti-tampering tool usually associated with making games perform worse than they should. While Capcom does have a history of removing Denuvo from some of their titles months after release, this news is understandably concerning. Still, all we can do is wait and see how these games perform.

UPDATE 12/2/2022: The Steam pages for both games now state that keyboard and mouse aren’t supported, with controllers being required.

UPDATE 12/12/2022: The Steam pages no longer state that controllers are required.
