MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Gets Gameplay Trailer Ahead of Launch and it Looks Awesome
Piranha Games released a new trailer for MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, coming to PC-exclusively via Epic Games Store on December 10.
The trailer shows some in-depth gameplay of from MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, which is the first single-player entry in the series in nearly 20 years. Viewers can get a preview of the game’s destructible environments. Additionally, players who enjoy customization will have control over almost every component of their mech, including its design and color.
From the missions select screen, players will travel around the galaxy where they will land on foreign planets and face off against enemy mechs. The campaign gives players a choice about how they wish to take on these missions, which revolves around risk, reward, and consequence.
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries borrows the gameplay from MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries, which grants players the freedom to run their campaigns on how they choose. Players will be able to pilot, construct, and maintain their own mercenary unit over a multi-year campaign during the Third and Fourth Succession Wars. The game also has an online mode where players can bring up to three friends with them in co-op contracts. These missions can also be played with AI-controlled allies.
