Playism announced they will publish the MercuryStudio-developed mech racer Break Arts III on PC via Steam for a future release. The game will support English, Japanese, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese text options at launch.
Break Arts III will be available to play during PAX West 2023, taking place at the Seattle Convention Center in Seattle from September 1 through September 4. This will be the first time the game’s demo will be playable.
Break Arts III is a racing mech game that is all about customization and competition. Players can customize their mechs to the heart’s content, which alters their base stats and prepares them for the race. During gameplay, players enter competitions to earn prize money, which unlocks blueprints and newer mech modules. There are no weapons in the game, and winning revolves around the player and their play style.
A battle mode is also available, where players can move around the field freely and fight against their rivals. During the match, players lose points for getting knocked out of a defined area, so you’ll need to avoid attacks. On the other hand, battle racing has players face off against other through detailed stages of different terrain and gravity that requires players to send out the right mech for any given situation.
We’ll keep you updated on the development and release of Break Arts III.
