Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Mysteriful Limited Edition Delayed to July 2023 in North America

Spike Chunsoft has announced that the Mysteriful Limited Edition of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE has been delayed in North America to July 14, 2023.

The following note was provided to explain the delay:

“This setback is the result of an unanticipated and unavoidable delay encountered during the customs clearance process of the Spirited 6.5” Shinigami plush. This customs issue has now been resolved. The Spike Chunsoft, Inc. team is continuing to work closely with its partners to expedite the release of the Mysteriful Limited Edition.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause and express our gratitude for your patience and understanding. We plan to update our official social media channels with the latest information, and we look forward to sharing the exciting news of the product’s release as soon as possible.”

The company then went on to clarify that the game’s standard physical and digital editions have not been delayed.

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE has players control an amnesiac detective who is followed by a Shinigami and solve cases by examining crime scenes and evidence. The Shinigami will create a realm connecting the crime scene to the truth. Mystery Phantoms will try to impede your progress, and defeating them by utilizing the truth is the only way to go.

The gameplay comprises exploration throughout the Kanai Ward, which is entirely 3D. Players will have to examine several crime scenes and other locations alongside interviewing involved parties. Hidden clues are emphasized as being hidden via specific camera angles.
