Master Detective Archives: Rain Code Collector’s Edition Revealed & Pre-Orders Available
Spike Chunsoft has unveiled the Collector’s Edition for their previously announced mystery adventure, Master Detective Archives: Rain Code. Dubbed the “Mysteriful Limited Edition,” purchasers will obtain the following:
- 6.5-inch Shinigami Plush
- Steelbook
- Death Art Book featuring commentary from Kazutaka Kodaka, Rui Komatsuzaki, and Shimadoriru
- “Noise of Neon” Official Soundtrack composed by Masafumi Takada
- Outerbox boasting exclusive artwork from Rui Komatsuzaki
Intrigued parties can pre-order the package for $109.99 via Amazon ahead of a potential June 30, 2022, release date. The game has not yet received an official launch date, so the date this store page has shared could simply be a placeholder.

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is a new project by the Danganronpa team where one experiences a 3D detective adventure set in a neon city. The title is currently scheduled to release for Nintendo Switch in Spring 2023.
Players will control an amnesiac detective who is followed by a Shinigami and solve cases by examining crime scenes and evidence. The Shinigami will create a realm connecting the crime scene to the truth. Mystery Phantoms will try to impede your progress, and defeating them by utilizing the truth is the only way to go.
