CyberConnect2 President Comments on Massive Fuga: Melodies of Steel Update Coming This Spring
CyberConnect2 President Hiroshi Matsuyama took to Twitter to tease an update headed to Fuga: Melodies of Steel. Not to be confused with the newly announced Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, this update will be coming to the first game.
One of the developers on the team, Yoann Gueritot, jumped in and added that this update will be “Massive.”
Matsuyama-san shared, “After treating myself to 2 movies, I decided to try out the latest build of the big Fuga 1 update. [This update] is planned for spring, and it looks like it will become even more fun! Though we still have a long list of fixes and tweaks ahead of us.”
The team will likely be adding quality-of-life systems that they developed in the newer entries to the base game. Still, we’ll continue to share information as it becomes available.
The gameplay is Fuga has players follow an order of actions. In the game, the player’s arsenal is a tank with a Machine Gun that can delay an enemy’s turn, Cannon, which weakens enemy armor, and Heavy Cannon, which does heavy damage. Players will be able to position their characters within each turn and, depending on the character; there will be a special effect. Special effects include Heavy Shot, Armor Break, Multi-shot, and more, and this differs from character to character. At the end of each battle, players will be ranked.
