Masahiro Sakurai Announces YouTube Crossover with Retro Game Master; English Translation Confirmed

Masahiro Sakurai has announced a YouTube crossover event with Retro Game Master (Game Center CX in Japan). Arino Kacho of the latter and Sakurai will make guest appearances across each other’s YouTube channels playing games.

This crossover was originally only going to be available in Japanese, but the translation team for Sakurai’s YouTube videos, 8-4, insisted on localizing the crossover episode on Sakurai’s channel.

Surprise! Masahiro Sakurai on Creating Games and Retro Game Master (Game Center CX in Japan) are teaming up for a special YouTube crossover event! Arino Kacho and I will be making guest appearances playing games together on each others’ channels, so be sure to tune in and enjoy!

Initially, the Retro Game Master crossover was only set to be available in Japanese. However, the folks at 8-4, who translate this channel into English, insisted on localizing our side’s crossover episodes as well. So, good news for our overseas viewers: you can follow along too!

The first broadcast is planned for October 13, 2023, at 6 AM ET/ 3 AM PT.
