Marvel’s Wolverine Set in Same Universe as Marvel’s Spider-Man

Kinda Funny Games recently hosted a spoilercast about the recently released Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with Creative Director Bryan Intihar. The group conversed about several facets, including the casting for Kraven the Hunter, memorable emotional moments, sidequests, and much more. It’s an extensive deep dive that lasts over 90 minutes.

However, Intihar revealed that the upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine, which was announced in 2021, will be set in the same universe as these Spider-Man titles. Thanks to Okami Games for sharing this news.

Marvel’s Spider–Man 2 focuses on Peter Parker and Miles Morales following the events of the latter’s latest title. Players can anticipate more acrobatic parkour with web swinging alongside several variations built upon that foundation. Further, Venom will play an integral role in this entry’s narrative, so fans have quite a bit to look forward to this time around.

For those unaware, a Marvel’s Spider–Man 2 prequel comic was launched for Free Comic Book Day. It highlights Peter Parker, Miles, and Mary Jane as they balance the multiple faces of their lives. Additionally, the well-known villain The Hood debuts in this specific universe.

This title is the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game in history.
