Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Launching for PS5 Fall 2023; Wishlisting Available
In a new PlayStation Blog article discussing what fans can expect from the platform’s first-party outings for 2023, Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was confirmed to launch for PlayStation 5 in Fall 2023.
Fans can currently wishlist the title on PSN.
No explicit details about what this entry, occurring after Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, will comprise, but the announcement trailer last year teased that Venom would play a substantial role.
The game’s Creative Director, Bryan Intihar, shared the following statement regarding development progress:
“What a year it’s been for PlayStation Studios; here at Insomniac Games we’ve been in absolute awe of the work of our peers. Congrats to everyone on a successful 2022… and here’s to next year being just as exciting as we continue to get Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ready for release next fall.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales are both available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
Throughout Marvel’s Spider-Man, players experience the iconic double life of Peter Parker as he attempts to somehow manage his social life and career alongside his heroic strides. He faces countless threats to extents that put the entirety of the city in danger.
Following the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales features Miles facing enemies and plights on his own for the first time. He learns more about his powers and personal values while also encountering threats that hit home a little closer than he’d like. It’s a far shorter journey than the prior title but still boasts heart.
