Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Will Have Freely Swappable Peter & Miles, Roughly Double Map Size; 10 Months After Miles Morales

Video game outlet Press Start recently interviewed Game Director Ryan Smith and Creative Director Brian Intihar about the upcoming Insomniac Games-developed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

The staff revealed that while freely exploring the open world, players will have the freedom to flexibly switch between Peter and Miles as both characters have content individually tailored to themselves. Plus, you’ll be able to explore as either protagonist freely. Additionally, the team confirmed that this game will solely be a single-player adventure with no co-op planned. Peter and Miles also have their own skill trees and a shared one.

As for the explorable map, players can anticipate it to be roughly double in scope compared to the first mainline game. The Brooklyn and Queen borough inclusions significantly bolster this new space.

Lastly, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is confirmed to take place ten months after the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
