Marvel’s Avengers Coming to Next-Gen Consoles Next Month Alongside Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect

Square Enix has announced that Marvel’s Avengers will be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 18, 2021. This upgraded version of the title will boast faster loading times and an overall increase in performance quality.

The second new playable character, Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, will be launching alongside this new version as well in Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect. Hawkeye is a masterful adept of the bow with unmatched precision.

Owners of the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of the game can upgrade to their next-gen iterations at no extra cost. Save data will carry over between versions as well.

You can view the War Table Deep Dive discussing Hawkeye below:

Hawkeye will join in Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect at no extra cost to owners of the game. In addition to the new playable hero and playable episode, Maestro will be joining the fray as the next antagonist; a version of Hulk with Bruce Banner’s brains and the Hulk’s strengths and abilities, now driven mad in an apocalyptic future.

Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect takes place after Kate Bishop’s Operation, Taking AIM, and can be played either solo or with up to 3 friends. Players will encounter a variety of twists and turns such as a new deadly weapon being built by Scientist Supreme Monica Rappaccini that could alter the fate of humanity itself.
