UPDATE: Marvelous Games Showcase Announced for Late May 2023
In developer Marvelous’ most recent financial report, the company announced that they will host the Marvelous Games Showcase in late May 2023. Thanks to Gematsu for spotting this news.
Unfortunately, no details were shared regarding what fans should suspect other than general updates on upcoming PC and console titles, as well as ones still in the midst of development. Regardless, we’ll be sure to inform you all of any significant announcements made during this broadcast.

An official English-subtitled version of the broadcast has been confirmed with a YouTube link. Fans can anticipate announcements of “new entries for popular, long-running franchises as well as all-new titles, with members from the respective development teams joining to share their thoughts on these works in progress.”
Marvelous recently launched Rune Factory 3 Special for Nintendo Switch in Japan, with the West set to receive it on September 5, 2023.
Rune Factory 3 Special is an HD remaster of the original Rune Factory 3 game originally released on the Nintendo DS. In this title, players play as Micah, an amnesiac protagonist who can transform into two forms. Farm, fight, and fall in love as you revisit a classic in the series that perfected the blend of RPG & Life-sim genres.
This special edition includes a physical copy of the game, a 6 in. x 4 in. (15.24 cm x 10.16 cm) acrylic standee featuring protagonists from Rune Factory 3 Special, Rune Factory 4 Special, and Rune Factory 5, an original soundtrack CD, a custom planner containing in-game seasons in addition to a real-world calendar and, what’s perhaps more importantly, an exclusive “Swimsuit Mode” DLC, allowing for characters to appear in their swimsuits year-round! Honestly, what more could you ask?
