Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Launches Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC

Nintendo and Ubisoft have announced that the Rayman in the Phantom Show DLC for their strategy title Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is now available.

Rayman is back as the special guest of the Phantom’s Opera network studio. Further, The Phantom boss from Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is back, asking for help in improving his channel’s ratings. It’s neat to see Rayman around, even if just as a DLC add-on.

Players will traverse Western, Pirate, and Medieval movie sets with a playable Rayman in a new storyline. You can purchase this DLC standalone for $14.99 via the Switch eShop, assuming you don’t have the Season Pass.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is the sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, but it can be enjoyed entirely standalone since their narratives are not all that prominent.

Combat has received a significant shakeup, abolishing the tile-based system of the debut entry and instead allowing for free movement within a limited range. Further, there is far more customization, and world map exploration has received a drastic overhaul, truly making for a stellar sequel.
