Mario Kart 8 Booster Course Pass Wave 5 Releasing Next Week; Course List Revealed

Nintendo just published a brand-new trailer for the penultimate wave of the Mario Kart 8: Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass DLC. The video reveals the eight new courses will be available to play next week, on July 12, 2023. Furthermore, details about what courses are included were also revealed, alongside the brand-new course titled Squeaky-Clean Sprint. In addition, this wave also adds in three new playable characters: Petey Piranha from Mario Kart Double Dash, Wiggler from Mario Kart 7, and Kamek from Mario Kart Tour.

Below is a list of courses that were revealed:

• Koopa Cape (Mario Kart Wii)
• Los Angeles Laps (Mario Kart Tour)
• Moonview Highway (Mario Kart Wii)
• Squeaky Clean Sprint (new original course)
• Athens Dash (Mario Kart Tour)
• Daisy Cruiser (Mario Kart: Double Dash)
• Sunset Wilds (Mario Kart Super Circuit)
• Vancouver Velocity (Mario Kart Tour)

First announced during the Nintendo Direct in early February 2022, the Booster Course pass is set to contain 48 iconic returning tracks from across all of Mario Kart‘s storied history. The Booster Course Pass is currently available via Nintendo eShop for US$24,99. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers can enjoy this new wave when it releases at no added cost.
