Mario Kart 8 Booster Course Pass Wave 6 Adds Four New Characters & Eight Courses; Holiday 2023
During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced the sixth and final wave of Mario Kart 8: Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass. This last wave of courses will be released in the holiday season of 2023.
It will feature 8 courses, and four brand-new characters will be added to the roster: Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Peachette, and Pauline, making this the biggest addition to the roster yet. The trailer only showed one of the courses, Daisy Circuit, from Mario Kart Wii, but more information will be revealed at a later date.
First announced during the Nintendo Direct in early February 2022, the Booster Course pass is set to contain 48 iconic returning tracks from across all of Mario Kart‘s storied history.
The Booster Course Pass is currently available via Nintendo eShop for US$24,99. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers can enjoy this new wave when it is released at no added cost.
