MapleStory Update Adds New Pathfinder Class After Defeating Black Mage
Nexon details the upcoming update for their MMORPG MapleStory.
Launching on June 26, the update allows players to play as the Explorer Bowman class, Pathfinder, with a precreation period starting on June 12. This update will follow the conclusion of the Black Mage storyline where players will be able to explore the new Adventure island events, take on a new themed dungeon, and level up faster with new characters by using the Tera Buring Project.
During the Pathfinder precreation, beginning on June 12, players can choose their Pathfinder’s features including their gender and hair color. This will allow them to jump right into playing when the class unlocks on June 26. From June 12 to July 23, players can use the Tera Burning Project, where a single character per account will gain three levels each time they level up.
By participating in the Adventure Island events, players can play Aventure Bingo, Maplerunner, Reverse Battle and other games to work on their Adventurer Tier and collect Adventure Coins.
Additional updates include improvements to gameplay systems to help players on all levels, which refines tutorial and job advancement quests. This update also increases meso drop in Reboot worlds as well as lowers quests requirement for the 5th Job advancement.
MapleStory is available now on PC.
The developer also released a new trailer and screenshots from the update which you can see below:
