Tripwire Interactive launched the final installment of their developer diary series for their action RPG Maneater, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Epic Games Store on May 22.
The video dives (no pun intended) into the game’s development as the team talks about the game’s tone, premise, and presentation. The animators, directors, and artists each talk about what makes this game unique and what they did to make it the best it could be. I mean, it’s a game about a shark that can pretty much eat anything, but instead of stopping there, they went the extra mile to include a story and other gameplay elements to keep players playing.
The video then discovers visual, aural, and interactive detail to hold fans off until the game’s release.
Maneater is shARkPG where players assume the role of a shark who has met its rival at birth, a shark hunter. Players will explore the world through the life of this young shark as it grows from a baby to an absolute tank. The game features customization and an open-world to explore and dominate.
Maneater is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC-via Epic Games Store on May 22.
