ShARkPG Maneater Gets Free Next Gen Upgrades for Consoles This November, and for PC Early Next Year

Developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive, along with partner publisher Deep Silver has announced that the open-water action-RPG (aka ShARkPG) Maneater will be receiving a series of free, next-generation upgrades for the upcoming Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. The PC version of Maneater will also be receiving its own slew of next-generation upgrades, and those are scheduled to be announced during early 2021.

The free next-generation upgrades for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X will include Ray-Tracing, 4K HDR at 60 FPS, and new lighting effects that will further enhance the lifelike nature of the ocean. Additionally, in regards to the Xbox Series S, its upgrades will boast increased graphical fidelity and framerate.

These upgrades will be made available for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S owners on November 10, 2020. Playstation 5 owners located in North America, Australia, and New Zealand will receive these upgrades on November 12, and European Playstation 5 owners will receive these upgrades on November 19, 2020.

Developer and publisher Tripwire has voiced how ecstatic and overwhelmed they all are by the overall positive reception for Maneater, and in addition to announcing these free next-generation upgrades, also stated that “…fans can expect even more exciting news about the future of Maneater soon.”
