MMO Action RPG ‘Magic: Legends’ Reveals Debut Gameplay in New Trailer

Perfect World Entertainment released new gameplay for the Cryptic Studios-developed MMO action RPG Magic: Legends, coming to PC is 2020 and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2021.

Magic: Legends is planned to be a free-to-play MMO action RPG based on the strategy card game, Magic: The Gathering. Players will become Planeswalkers and work towards saving the multiverse as they explore iconic environments.

The Debut trailer quickly introduces environments and shows off some of the battle systems. Players also get the chance to see the enemies in the game and the magic that they’ll be able to conjure for attacks.

“Our entire team was overwhelmed by the incredible response we received from gamers and Magic: The Gathering fans when we announced Magic: Legends last month,” said Stephen Ricossa, executive producer for Magic: Legends. “Now, we’re excited to reveal a first look at what makes this game truly special. We can’t wait for players to assume the role of a Planeswalker and collect powerful spells to take on some of the most dangerous adversaries in the known multiverse.”

Beta testing for the game is planned to begin in Spring 2020. The beta will include two Planeswalkers, Geomancer and Mind Mage. Players can sign up for the beta now at the game’s official website.
