Mafia: Definitive Edition Gets Gameplay Overview Video Showing Updated Graphics

2K revealed gameplay from Mafia: Definitive Edition, the remade version of the first Mafia title, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on August 28.

The video shows about 15-minutes of updated gameplay as players play through in a new way. The video highlights the missions “A Trip to the Country,” where players can explore the surrounding area, investigate, and enter a gunfight. Hangar 13 President Haden Blackman walks players through the game and the updated systems.

Mafia: Definitive Edition has received a bit more attention than their other two releases, given that this title released back on PS2 and Xbox. However, at this time, we have only seen the cinematics, which has been completely reworked for this release. Furthermore, players can pre-order the game as a standalone release or as part of the Mafia: Trilogy.

In Mafia, players will be able to explore the city of Lost Heaven, during the prohibition years of the 1930s. The story centers around a taxi driver named Tommy Angelo, who has found himself in a tight situation after helping two members of the Salieri family, which then spirals him into getting involved with the mafia.
