Machine Games to Develop Indiana Jones Video Game With Original Story

Bethesda announced that their studio, Machine Games, is in development by the studio.

Not much has been revealed about the project outside of the 30-second teaser trailer, but the publisher has confirmed that more information will be released later today.

As for right now, we know that the game will be developed by Todd Howard in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

Machine Games is known for their high action titles, including their contribution to the Wolfenstein series. Since being acquired by ZeniMax in 2010, the studio has been mainly focused on rebooting the series but has not revealed a new project since the release of Wolfenstein: Youngblood in 2019. This title wanted to bring the series to a more looter shooter appeal, but it didn’t quite work out with fans.

However, the studio is now working on a licensed series, which is pretty interesting since Indiana Jones has its high action peaks. Still, there’s also some dramatic storytelling and romance sprinkled into the mix.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on this new project with any additional news that is revealed today.

For now, you can check out the trailer below, which features the theme song of the adventure, along with Indiana’s iconic hat and whip:
