Sekai Project launched a new Kickstarter for the Vermillion Digital developed mecha action game M.A.S.S. Builder, in development for PC-via Steam and set to release in 2019.
M.A.S.S. Builder is currently 50% complete and the team has worked towards finalizing all of its core systems with their initial funding. The campaign was launched to fund the rest of the game’s development as they add in more content and other systems to make the game better. In the event that the game doesn’t get funding, the studio foresees the game being delayed, but they still plan on finishing the project.
Currently, backers can get a copy of the game by pledging $20, while physical rewards for the game begin at the $40 backer level.
During M.A.S.S. Builder, players will be able to create their one mech and use it to fight off enemies. Throughout the game, players will gain new armor and weapons to build the mech of their dreams, along with customizing and fine-tuning small details in the mech’s design.
You can watch the first trailer for the game below showing action and enemies, but it’s safe to say that this is shown early in development and doesn’t totally reflect the final product. Still, the game is looking good:
