Horror Fantasy Visual Novel RPG ‘Lucid Heart’ Launches Kickstarter to Fund Original Assets and Development

Box Cat Entertainment launched the Kickstarter for their horror visual novel RPG Lucid Heart, in development for PC-via itchi.io and Steam.

Lucid Heart tells the story of character, who’s gender is chosen by the player, as they wake up with amnesia and in another world. However, the game differs from other titles with an isekai plot as it features psychological horror elements. The player will decide the character’s personality through choices made in the game. The game also features an active time battle system and visual novel elements. During gameplay, players will go on a journey of self-discovery and meet other characters along the way. However, it seems there’s an unknown force that is trying to stop the protagonist from learning more about their past.

Lucid Heart features voice acting, multiple endings, bi-sexual relationships, and a 16+ and 18+ version. The campaign is asking for $26,500 and $25 will get you a digital copy of the game. Funding for the titles will go towards creating new assets and finishing the game’s development as well as voice acting.

The developer released a trailer with their Kickstarter to show off characters from the game and their English tracks, which can give those interested a preview of the cast.
