Love Live! School Idol Festival ~after school ACTIVITY~ Wai-Wai! Home Meeting!! is a Long Name for a Game That You Didn’t Expect to Come West But is Seen in PS4 Teaser Trailer

Square Enix made a bit of a surprise announcement for western rhythm game lovers by announcing that Love Live! School Idol Festival ~after school ACTIVITY~ Wai-Wai!Home Meeting!! will be launch in the west on PlayStation 4.

This version will be based on the popular Japanese arcade and mobile series, which features songs and performances by μ’s, Aqours, and Saint Snow. If you don’t know, those are the main groups the Love Live series has features, but there are some other groups that some may even say are better than them throughout the series.

Currently, the game doesn’t have a release date, but it’s a rhythm action game where players list to the tracks and tap along to the beat across different difficulties. As the gameplay is happening, players will see a concert or skit play behind the notes. There are no mentions for any enhancements of the game’s PS4 version, but you can play it on your home screen, so that’s cool. We are also not sure if the game will contain any gacha elements.

Love Live also has a mobile game available now. In case you missed it, check out our review for Love Live! School Idol Festival All-Stars.
