Adventure RPG ‘Lotus Reverie: First Nexus’ Launches Steam Page With Gameplay Details and Screenshots

Indie developer Keinart Lobre has launched the Steam page for their adventure RPG Lotus Reverie: First Nexus, with a release window planned for 2020.

Lotus Reverie: First Nexus is a visual novel that allows players to manage their time as they progress through the story. Heavily influenced by the Devil Survivor and Persona series, players will need to decide what to do with their time, whether that be training or hanging out with other characters.

In the world of Lotus Reverie: First Nexus, an incident occurred that cause almost all the citizens to vanish, but among this tragedy, tulpas came into existence. These beings appear to be human, but they are born through the minds of other humans, and their lives are linked. There are many rules to this strange happening, but it seems that “only one human and their tulpa will survive.”

Players assume the role of Cinque, an amnesiac girl who has shown up at a castle. Cinque spends her time trying to figure out more about the event, but she can also hang out with the survivors at the castle or go and fight for experience. Whatever she chooses to do with her day, time will progress, and her memories will slowly come back to her based on the player’s actions.

The game features multiple difficulties for those who just want to play through the story. The battle system is a turn-based strategy and acts more like a mini-game where players will make an action and then watch how it plays out.
