Chinese developer Ultizero announced that Lost Soul Aside will be featured at this year’s ChinaJoy 2023, taking place at the Kerry Hotel in Pudong, Shanghai, from July 28 through July 31.
In a Tweet, the developer shared they will have a playable demo through a level of the game present at the PlayStation booth during the show. Attendees are able to get their hands on the game early, but it hasn’t been confirmed which demo this will be. In the past, a demo was available where players could take on grunt enemies and a boss, but that was nearly five years ago.
We’ll keep you updated on the showcase and any news to come out of the event as it’s taking place.
Lost Soul Aside details the adventure of Kazer and his dragon companion, Arena. Kazer and Arena act as both the teacher and student in various circumstances as they head out on their adventure. The game will feature English audio as well as unrevealed new characters to come.
The gameplay is action-focused and screams inspiration from games like Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden but with the appeal and style of a high-budget RPG. The game features numerous enemies and large bosses that the player will need to utilize Kazer’s abilities and skills to get through.
In case you were wondering, China Hero Project aims to see each of these titles come west. Also, check out the most recent trailer showing gameplay.
Lost Soul Aside is in development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and scheduled for an early 2024 launch.
