Lost Judgment Gets New Trailer Showing its Intro Cinematic and Theme Song

As previously announced, Sega America has shared a new video of Lost Judgment showing the game’s intro cinematic. The theme song is called Rasen (which could mean something like “spiral”) and performed by jon-YAKITORY feat. Ado. Though the song is entirely in Japanese, the video also includes English subtitles.

Lost Judgment is a sequel to Judgment, continuing the story of the ex-lawyer, now detective Takayuki Yagami. As was the case of the previous game, it’ll continue offering action combats as the series is supposed to carry the torch of the old Yakuza gameplay while the Yakuza franchise will continue on as a turn-based RPG moving forward. Besides the Crane and Tiger styles, a new counter-focused Snake style will be included.

One of the features of the new game will be exploring Yokohama with one area of interest being a high school that’ll be vital to the plot and can be seen in the intro. As Yagami interacts with some students, he’ll also have the chance to play some minigames. The local arcade will include Sonic the Fighters, for instance.

Check out the new trailer:

Lost Judgment will be released worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on September 24, 2021.
