Movie Games announced that their dark-fantasy adventure survival-horror, Lust from Beyond, will launch on PC-via Steam on February 25.
Lust from Beyond is a first-person psychological horror adventure that explores occult and erotic themes. The game’s setting is inspired by Lovecraft, Giger, and Beksinski and takes place in the same universe as Lust for Darkness. However, it’s not required to play that every to enjoy this game.
Additionally, the developer released the first episode of a developer diary series where they explain where the concept of Lust from Beyond came from. Further, the developer gives an insight into the gameplay mechanics and how they made the game “not a walking simulator.”
In case you missed it, there are two demos available, Lust from Beyond: Scarlet and Lust from Beyond: Prologue, where players will be introduced to the game’s survival, gore, and sexual gameplay features as they explore a new faction, Scarlet Lodge.
Lust from Beyond: Scarlet features erotic motives within the horror genre with an option for interactive sex scenes. Players will also need to fight enemies but can also opt to run away.
