Key to Release Several Visual Novels on Steam With English Support: Loopers, Lunaria, Tsui no Stella, and Summer Pockets Reflection Blue

Developer Key has released a blog post detailing their 2022 highlights but decided to include some updates on games for 20233. In particular, the developer is hoping to release their games to a global market, which in their words, is something that would have never happened 20 years ago.

To satisfy overseas fans, the team has announced several of their titles will be making their way to Steam with optional language text Support.

  • LOOPERS – Scheduled for April 2023 (Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese support)
  • Lunaria – Undecided in 2023 (Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese support)
  • Tsui no Stella – Undecided in 2023 (Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese support)
  • Summer Pockets Reflection Blue – Undecided in 2024 (Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese support)

The publisher also adds, “One more thing. Gimmick-oriented visual novels such as those with “riddle solving” tend to be very popular overseas. We would like to establish a series of novels based on this kind of overseas development, not to mention Key and other story-based and world-based novels.”

Loopers is centered around Taira, a high school student obsessed with geocaching, where you find treasure.

During summer vacation, Taira and her friends come across a mysterious incident, and the reality because disoriented as tomorrow becomes today. The group has been swallowed in a time vortex and trapped in a never-ending loop. That’s when they meet other “loopers,” Simon and Mia, and work together to escape.
