Deck-Building Adventure Strategy Title ‘Loop Hero’ Coming to Steam March 4; Demo Available Now
Developer Four Quarters and publisher Devolver Digital have announced that their upcoming deck-building adventure strategy title, Loop Hero, will be launching on Steam on March 4, 2021, for $14.99.
There is also a brief, new gameplay trailer for the title which you can view below:
In Loop Hero, the world has been subjected to an endless loop, causing the denizens no end of grief. Players will have to strategize by utilizing mystical cards and positioning enemies, buildings, and terrain along each unique expedition’s path. The goal is to restore the hero’s memories and ultimately bring balance to the presently chaotic world.
Game systems revolve around the player tasked with recovering and equipping loot for each hero’s class for the battles ahead. Throughout the game, the camp will expand to house more survivors to reinforce each adventure during the loop. Players can unlock new classes, new cards, and guardians as they quest to destroy the cycle of despair.
Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker had this to say regarding this title’s upcoming release:
