Nintendo has shared a new video regarding the upcoming Square Enix-developed HD-2D remake, Live a Live. The Go! Go! Steel Titan! vocal theme is discussed by the singer, Hironobu Kageyama, and several other staff members.
Producer Takashi Tokita talked about how since the team was yearning to remake this title for roughly 25 years, the prospect of rearranging the music was always in the cards. And for the Steel Titan theme, Kageyama was the only choice they felt was viable as the signer. Composer Yoko Shiomoura then discusses how players will undoubtedly be able to detect the sheer joy the staff had working on this project.

Live A Live was initially released only in Japan for the Super Famicom in 1994. It is unique as a JRPG title as it is effectively seven more miniature games that take place across different settings and time periods, with two unlockable scenarios that tie the stories together.
The title gained a following outside of Japan thanks to a fan translation that was among the earliest widely-shared complete patches, despite being considered to be a sales failure in its home country. The title has (again, exclusively in Japan) also been re-released through the Virtual Console service on the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Live A Live is releasing for Nintendo Switch worldwide on July 22, 2022.
