Little Town Hero Reveals Physical Release Date for PS4 and Switch
NIS America announced that the physical edition of the Game Freak-developed adventure RPG Little Town Hero will launch on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on June 2 in North America, June 5 in Europe, and June 12 in Oceania.
This will be the first time the game is available on PS4, as it is currently only available digitally on Switch.
There will be a limited edition available for fans called the “Big Idea Edition,” which includes:
- Little Town Hero on Switch or PS4
- Life in the Village art book
- Izzit? Dazzit! Poster
- Defender Duo lapel pin set
- Town Tunes Soundtrack
Little Town Hero is an RPG where players take on the role of Axe. The town he lives in is slightly overprotective as most of the townspeople aren’t allowed to leave thanks to the many guards posted around town. However, Axe isn’t like the rest of the townspeople, and after a monster invades the town, he kicks into gear to fend off the monster and begin his adventure.
The game blends story content with adventure RPG mechanics where players can explore around the town and complete quests as they wait for monsters to invade. In case you missed it, our review of the game mentioned that this becomes semi-repetitive, and the game flow is hurt because of it.
