NIS America announced that the physical edition of the Game Freak-developed adventure RPG Little Town Hero will be delayed from its PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch launch on June 2 in North America to June 24 in North America.
The delay most likely is in response to receiving physical products amidst the Coronavirus outbreak that has been affecting shipments of physical goods. The game is available on Switch now digitally, but the physical release is something fans of the developer have been waiting for.
Little Town Hero is an RPG where players take on the role of Axe. The town he lives in is slightly overprotective as most of the townspeople aren’t allowed to leave thanks to the many guards posted around town. However, Axe isn’t like the rest of the townspeople, and after a monster invades the town, he kicks into gear to fend off the monster and begin his adventure.
The game blends story content with adventure RPG mechanics where players can explore around the town and complete quests as they wait for monsters to invade. In case you missed it, our review of the game mentioned that this becomes semi-repetitive, and the game flow is hurt because of it.
