Nanairo Enterprise has announced LitGirls: Bookbound Dungeons, a new dungeon-crawling RPG that turns characters inspired by classic literature into an anime-styled party. The game is planned for release on PC via Steam during the first half of 2027, with console versions set to be announced at a later date. There are some 18+ elements to the game as well with options to reveal more than what you see in the article.
The project comes from the developers of TurretGirls and draws from literary figures including Alice, Juliet, Dante, Raven, and others. Players build a party around these characters before heading into dangerous areas filled with monsters, traps, treasure, and otherworldly threats.
Combat uses a turn-based system where party formation plays a major role. Characters have standard HP alongside a mental health resource called Pathos, giving players two conditions to manage during exploration and battles.
Another core mechanic is the Logos system. Powerful words can be equipped or used during combat, adding another layer to party setup and strategy. Further details about how individual characters, Pathos, and Logos interact have not yet been shared.
Nanairo Enterprise also released an announcement trailer alongside the reveal, offering the first look at LitGirls: Bookbound Dungeons ahead of its planned 2027 launch.
LitGirls: Bookbound Dungeons is currently in development for PC via Steam and is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2027. Console versions will be announced at a later date.
