Like a Dragon: Ishin! Shares English-Subtitled Video Interview with Returning Actor Hideo Nakano; Played Shibusawa in Yakuza 0

Publisher Sega and developer RGG Studio have shared a new video regarding their upcoming action-adventure, Like a Dragon: Ishin! The Director of RGG Studio, Masayoshi Yokoyama, briefly interviews Hideo Nakano.

For those unaware, Nakano is the actor who played Shibusawa Keiji in Yakuza 0. And in this newly envisioned entry, he’s playing Takechi Hanpeita. Throughout the video, he answers and replies to Yokoyama’s observations and inquiries regarding his return to the series, changes that have occurred since, and his extensive efforts with acting in the past. It’s an enjoyable watch if a bit surreal for those who have never seen the actor since the facial capture technology is impressively accurate.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is the missing chapter of the series and is finally coming west. Set in 1860’s Kyo, a solemn samurai’s fight for justice stands to change the course of Japan’s history forever. Draw your blade and join the revolution in this heated historical adventure.

Gameplay includes over-the-top action with access to a handful of weaponry and combat styles, including Swordsman, Gunman, Wild Dancer, and Brawler. An optional in-game glossary supplements context to the historical basis of the people, places, and events featured within Like a Dragon: Ishin! Further, this entry aims to expand upon its 2014 Japan-exclusive predecessor with localization support, all-new content, exquisitely remastered graphics, and enhanced capabilities for modern platforms in Unreal Engine 4.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is launching for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on February 21, 2023.
