Like a Dragon: Ishin! Shares New Story Trailer; Blade of Vengeance
Publisher Sega and developer RGG Studios have shared a new story trailer for their upcoming action-adventure, Like a Dragon: Ishin! This video hones in protagonist Sakamoto Ryoma, who’s faced with seemingly insurmountable odds as he’s framed for the death of his mentor. Finding meaningful allies and efficiently handling potential threats will be quite the set of tasks to accomplish.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is the missing chapter of the series and is finally coming west. Set in 1860’s Kyo, a solemn samurai’s fight for justice stands to change the course of Japan’s history forever. Draw your blade and join the revolution in this heated historical adventure.

Gameplay includes over-the-top action with access to a handful of weaponry and combat styles, including Swordsman, Gunman, Wild Dancer, and Brawler. An optional in-game glossary supplements context to the historical basis of the people, places, and events featured within Like a Dragon: Ishin! Further, this entry aims to expand upon its 2014 Japan-exclusive predecessor with localization support, all-new content, exquisitely remastered graphics, and enhanced capabilities for modern platforms in Unreal Engine 4.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is launching for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on February 21, 2023.
Physical and digital pre-orders will grant the Kijinmaru Kunishige, Bloody Sheen, and Black Ship Cannon weapons.
Additionally, those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition specifically will gain four-day early access and the following DLC items:
