Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Introduces Dondoko Island
During the Xbox Partner Preview, RGG Studio and Sega revealed a new area in the upcoming Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Dondoko Island. This minigame locale has players build their own home and develop an island comprised of tourists, decorations, and other side activities.
The developer shared that “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth delivers a one-of-a-kind RPG experience with combat boasting greater depth, quality of life refinements, and improved gameplay favoring speed and strategy. The playable party now has full freedom of movement while fighting, allowing you to strategically position yourself and your allies to take down foes more effectively.”
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s story centers around Ichiban Kasuga, who wakes up on a beach without clothes. Details of the narrative are currently scarce, but players can look forward to returning protagonists Ichiban and Kiryu being dual protagonists. Further, the title will be turn-based like the previous mainline outing, Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will launch worldwide on January 26, 2024, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
