- The studio’s executive producer explained why the game’s title is different in the West and Japan.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s story centers around Ichiban Kasuga, who wakes up on a beach without clothes. Details of the narrative are currently scarce, but players can look forward to returning protagonists Ichiban and Kiryu being dual protagonists. Further, the title will be turn-based like the previous mainline outing, Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
This game was initially revealed as Like a Dragon 8 but has since been renamed Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
The newly unveiled cutscene should only be viewed by those who are caught up with the games since the subject matter can be considered to be a spoiler. Alternatively, if you just want to go in as blind as possible, you’re better off avoiding viewing this scene for similar reasons.
