Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Announces January 2024 Release Date Worldwide
During the latest RGG Summit, developer RGG Studio announced that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will launch worldwide on January 26, 2024, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The developer has confirmed that pre-orders are now live for physical and all digital editions of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, including Standard ($69.99), Deluxe ($84.99), and Ultimate ($109.99). Preorders include the Hero’s Booster Pack, which will help players level up faster, along with a Special Job Set that includes the Linebacker and Tennis Ace jobs.
Daniel Dae Kim will be the English voice actor of Masataka Ebina.
Additionally, Danny Trejo is the English voice actor of Dwight, leader of the Barracudas, “who supervises the largest counterfeit goods market in the world aided by his sharp sense of business and even sharper machete.”
The developer shares that “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth delivers a one-of-a-kind RPG experience with combat boasting greater depth, quality of life refinements, and improved gameplay favoring speed and strategy. The playable party now has full freedom of movement while fighting, allowing you to strategically position yourself and your allies to take down foes more effectively.”
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s story centers around Ichiban Kasuga, who wakes up on a beach without clothes. Details of the narrative are currently scarce, but players can look forward to returning protagonists Ichiban and Kiryu being dual protagonists. Further, the title will be turn-based like the previous mainline outing, Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
This game was initially revealed as Like a Dragon 8 but has since been renamed Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
