The developer previously shared that “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth delivers a one-of-a-kind RPG experience with combat boasting greater depth, quality of life refinements, and improved gameplay favoring speed and strategy. The playable party now has full freedom of movement while fighting, allowing you to strategically position yourself and your allies to take down foes more effectively.”

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s story centers around Ichiban Kasuga, who wakes up on a beach without clothes. Details of the narrative are currently scarce, but players can look forward to returning protagonists Ichiban and Kiryu being dual protagonists.

Further, the title will be turn-based like the previous mainline outing, Yakuza: Like a Dragon. The game will feature Dondoko Island, a locale where players can develop their own house and partake in several slice-of-life activities akin to a simulation title.
