Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name Will Feature Kaito from Judgment
The newest issue of Famitsu revealed that Kaito Masaharu from the Like a Dragon spinoff series, Judgment, will appear in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name to a currently unclarified extent.
Alongside a brief profile of Kaito, a screenshot is shared depicting him with Kiryu.

Q. Who is this man? A. Masaharu Kaito
This man wearing flashy clothes is Masaharu Kaito. He’s a former Lieutenant of the Matsugane family, an affiliate of the Tojo Family. In the Judgment series, he was the partner of the main character, detective Takayuki Yagami.
In Lost Judgment, he was also the main character of the Masaharu Kaito’s Case Files DLC episode. He seems to have no acquaintance with [Kiryu]. It will be interesting to see what kind of interaction they will have.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name features two fighting styles where players can switch between the Yakuza and Agent fighting styles in visceral melee combat. With the Yakuza style, strike fear into enemies by unleashing wildly aggressive moves powered by Kiryu’s unparalleled strength and flair.
Or up the ante with the Agent style by delivering blows with absolute speed and precision while using an array of high-tech gadgets like electrified bind wires to stun enemies and then send them flying. This entry will also fill in the gap of why Kiryu appeared in the seventh mainline entry and set the stage for Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth.
