Life-Sized Atelier Sophie 2 Statue Revealed For Over 4 Million Yen; Limited & 1/7 Scale Variants Showcased
Parco and Koei Tecmo have revealed a life-sized statue of protagonist Sophie from the Atelier Sophie subseries that will be sold throughout Japan and China for ¥4,290,000 (approximately $33,570). Then, as if that isn’t enough, a limited-edition variant of the figure depicting Sophie posting before a ruins background will be distributed during a lottery. Still, the lottery winner will have to purchase the statue for ¥6,050,000 (approximately $47,190).
Thankfully, a 1/7 scale iteration of the figure will be available for pre-order worldwide for ¥23,980 (approximately $187) between April 27, 2022, to July 18, 2022.

Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream continues the tale of Sophie and Plachta, who have traveled on many new adventures. After leaving Sophie’s hometown of Kirchen Bell, the two stumble across a tree that Plachta has seen in her dream.
Upon inspection, they are pulled into a vortex, and Sophie wakes up in a world called Erde Widege, where she hears someone who sounds awfully familiar to Plachta. However, it’s not her friend Plachta, but a young alchemist with the same name. I’m sure you can see where this is going.
Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream is now available worldwide on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
